Rise & Shine! Day 3

I woke up this morning feeling great. It could have to do with the fact that I went to bed at a good time and didn't eat a big, fat greasy meal before I slept. I know this has to do with not feeling so bloated and sick before I sleep. I didn't realize just how much I would snack every night before I went to bed! I woke up and my husband had a usual circle of orange peels, drinks, dip, chips around the bed because he had a late night snack while watching tv. It is such a normal thing for my husband and I to snack and watch something before we go to bed. It was like our little bonding time because all the kids would be sleeping and we could do something together. I'm so glad that I am on this diet so that I can find some healthier things to do with him. He was going to go the gym last night after work, but he ended up getting off at 10 pm (which is not his normal time) so he was too tired.

I am going to the gym today. Not to do anything strenuous, just to check it out and take a tour of what they have and the machines. I know they are going to try to sell me a personal trainer, but I don't need one. When I'm able to fully workout I want to basically walk/run on the treadmill, take some classes, and lift a little. Plus, my husband says I don't need a personal trainer. I don't know if it's because he's being a cheapskate or because he really thinks he can train people, but I'll just go along with it. Another great thing about last night was that I made the kids dinner healthier. I made them chicken and vegetables with rice. My kids have always been good eaters. They aren't picky and they like food, FOOD! Meat and potatoes kind of kids. *strike that, Meat & Rice* kind of kids. They would pick food over candy or sweets.

This is probably how my sons will be when they grow up :)

Anyways, it was great to feel like I can make food without craving it. Like my coach said, I am doing some mindless eating. I never realized it either that after the kids finished their dinner I usually finish their little bowls because I don't want to waste food. Last night, before I cleaned the table my son Terence threw the food out of the bowls and put all the dishes in the sink. I was so happy because I didn't have to cringe every time we throw away food. It wasn't a lot granted, but I just cringe every time we throw away any food.

I also opened a bag of ramen noodles for my kids *if you don't know Polynesian kids, Ramen noodles raw and crushed up is called Poly Chips* I put some in my mouth and immediately spit it out again. It made the kids laugh, but it made me angry that my bad habit is eating the kids food. hahaha It makes me laugh now, but it's such a stupid habit. Like whatever the kids bring me I have to taste before they do. So ridiculous. It's almost like a reflex. A reflex that I am soon going to fix. The same goes with drinks! Oh my gosh, I actually sipped a Capri Sun I was opening for my daughter and then spit it out. My kids laugh every time. I just hope they don't pick up my Sea World Shamu trick anytime soon!

Oh yeah, The Chili Nacho Cheese Puffs are my FAVORITE! I love that it has a kick to it. I wouldn't say spicy because I LOVE spicy stuff, but for the bland eaters it probably would be spicy for you. Also, the Caramel Crunch Bar is my favorite. I even like it over the S'mores Bars.

I didn't realize I ordered pudding either and I have yet to try the Strawberry shakes. Okay, gotta change some diapers, laundry, clean my room, hang some curtains, vacuum, clean bathroom, cook. Glad I'm my own boss cause I can do it in my own time. Wish me luck today! <<<okay that is going to be my sign out because I keep saying it. ;)

Ps- Sorry if I have tons of images in my blog, but I like to look at pictures. So sue me :)
